Behind every great training program is someone who has actually lived it. At First Aid Canada, we are proud to spotlight our training partners who bring real-world experience to every session. Today, we highlight Norm Goldberg of Rescue 7 Inc.
Since 2006, Norm has been an active Rescue 7 Instructor-Trainer across Ontario and Quebec. In 2019, he became the Director of Training, guiding the team and maintaining the high-quality standards Rescue 7 is known for.
Real-World Experience That Matters
Norm’s background is not just academic. He served as a Paramedic (A.E.M.C.A.) with Cote St. Luc EMS and is a certified BCLS/AED Master Trainer with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (Quebec). He is also a CSST Instructor and a National Lifesaving Examiner.
When instructors have actual emergency response experience, training feels different. The scenarios feel real, guidance is grounded in situations that have actually happened, and participants leave prepared to respond with confidence.
Quality Training Starts with Quality Instructors
At First Aid Canada, we believe that the quality of training begins with the instructor. That is why we partner with Rescue 7 and professionals like Norm, who bring both technical expertise and practical insight into every session.
A Fun Fact About Norm
Teaching and safety are serious, but personality counts too! Norm says:
“I love meeting new people when I teach and refereeing pro wrestling.”
Norm’s dedication, leadership, and energy make training sessions engaging and memorable for everyone involved.
