What is considered a remote area?
Remote areas are considered to be any location within the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon and Nunavik, QC (postal code starting with J0M).
Why do some items require heated service?
During the winter (November to April), some items (ie. eyewash solutions and other liquids/creams) may freeze during transport. When thawed, this could cause damage to the packaging. To avoid this, they would require heated service during transit.
